Many Malaysians Too Busy To Shop |

Found this article in The Sun today In the survey done by global market research firm Synovate, covering 10,000 consumers from the perninsula, this is what we got: - Maintaining family commitments and demanding work obligations stopped 44% of the respondents from shopping
- 55% of young Malaysians aged between 25 and 34 sought quality above other considerations and do not mind paying extra for it
- 25% of Malaysians living in urban market centres preferred to buy designer goods and well-known brands
- More men than women are likely to be influenced by designer goods and well-known brands
- 48% of those aged between 15 and 24 enjoyed looking through advertisements in newspapers and magazines
- Another 33% of consumers aged bewteen 20 and 49 from rural and urban market centres said they ahve greated trust in products that have been advertised
- Over 21%, particularly those living in urban ares, logging on to the internet to get unbiased opinions on goods
