I stayed here for a few days during my trip in Oct 2006. Found this place online. The staff are very friendly. The Kadazan lady (forgot her name) manning the reception is very helpful. Located opposite Wisma Merdeka and very near to places such as Wisma Sabah, you can get to most places on foot. The only downside is that it can get a little bit noisy, as it is located next to the main road. They have dorm, single, double and bigger, both air-cond and non air-cond. Comes with breakfast.

I stayed here when on of my family member was in Penang. I have to say, this place is pretty nice. The rooms are clean, the common shower place is well maintained. All rooms have air-cond. For a double, the rate is RM60 per night, and it comes with a simple breakfast. The best thing is the location. Centrally located at a stone's throw from Penang Road, you can get to popular places on foot. Recommended.
