This cendol stall is located in the small town of Masjid Tanah, some 30km to the North-West of Malacca town. It is operated by an ex-army Malay man by the name of Wahab. Many tourists don't know about this place, but this place is crowded with locals. Are you willing to drive the distance to try it out? Let me tempt you.

In my quest to search for delicious cendol througout the country, I was brought to this shop in Malacca. It is located close to Mahkota Parade in Malacca town. However, as it is located along a row of shop houses behind the main road, this place is not that easy to find.

Pak Putra is a famous restaurant in Malacca serving Tandoori Chicken and Nan as well as other delicious Indian dishes. Not mentioned in Lonely Planet, so this place is frequented mostly by locals or those that know somebody in Malacca. Conveniently located close to Jonker walk, but away from the crowd and traffic.
